OLLI of Greater Birmingham presents Alabama Idioms with Jim Langley, author and Oak Hill Cemetary historian. Jim will give a humorous presentation of the sayings unique to Alabama, showing the history of and reasons behind lyrical words and phrases we use and misuse.
First attendance free. If you decide to join OLLI there is a small annual membership fee and minimum semester course fee. One semester fee covers over 40 classes/events a semester.
