A workshop for women interested in joining the Lily of the Cahaba Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will be held from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 17, 2016, in the Round Auditorium at Homewood Public Library.

The free workshop offers an opportunity to learn more about membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) as well as receive assistance in identifying patriot ancestors and the application process.  Any woman is eligible for membership who is at least 18 years of age and can prove lineal, blood descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence.
