The 2016 Noojin and White Run for the Cause features a scenic downtown route that starts in the 200 block of Richard Arrington Jr. Blvd., North. On September 10th, the 5k begins at 8a.m., with the YMCA Healthy Kids Fun Run – Sponsored by Bright House Networks Business Solutions beginning at 9a.m.
The race features music, food trucks and is a fun event for runners and walkers alike. All proceeds from the race help support the YMCA financial aid program, which serves over 1,100 individuals and families on an annual basis that do not have the financial resources to afford a YMCA Membership or Program. This race also honors Ronnie Noojin and Jere White, two eminent attorneys and YMCA supporters that have passed away due to cancer.
