Sam Coffman, a former Green Beret Medic with over 25 years experience using medicinal plants will be discussing highlights of his book, The Herbal Medic.

Presentation will cover examples of practical herbal medicine and field first aid from the kitchen to key features in planning and facilitating a post-disaster, herbal clinic in your neighborhood or even in the middle of a remote area.

Discussion will focus on the following scenarios with Q & A to follow presentation:
•    Stories as a “Street Medic” and helping others in post-disaster situations or protests
•    Post-disaster or remote childbirth
•    Dealing with venomous snakebites when there is no higher medical care available
•    Treatment formulas and protocols for chronic health issues.
•    Setting up a remote clinic and practical street first aid
•    Introduction into post-disaster alcohol distillation

CLASS CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Refunds (minus a $15 processing fee) given if notification is made at least 10 business days prior to class start date. (You are always welcome to send another person under your registration if you cannot attend.) A $15 processing fee will be charged for class transfers at any time. We reserve the right to cancel classes due to lack of participation; if we cancel a class as such, we will issue a full refund. Please be aware that we strive to hold classes regardless of weather, so plan accordingly. In the unlikely event a class has to be cancelled due to inclement weather, we will attempt to notify you, and a refund (minus a $15 processing fee) will be issued.
