Join us for a dairy meal (as is traditional for this holiday) at 6:00 pm Saturday, June 11, followed by lots of cheesecake and a night of learning until 1am, with lectures by our own Rabbi Eytan Yammer, selected as one of the 33 most inspiring rabbis of 2015 in North America by the Forward, as well as lectures from two visiting rabbinical students from Yeshivat Chovevei Torah, the Open Orthodox Yeshivah. Topics include “Conversion and the Book of Ruth,” whether “Desperate Times Call for Desperate Prayers” and whether there is a prohibition on being afraid of people.
