A Family-Friendly Event!

Join us on our rescheduled date of July 23, 2016 for our (Birthday) Party at the Parks! Celebrating 125 years of ministry through ABCH, we’ll enjoy much of the same inflatables, food, music, and fun as last year, but with a few “birthday sprinkles” thrown in.

We are so excited to celebrate our foster families while raising awareness about foster care! Party at the Parks is a FREE event open to the entire Birmingham community. If you have any questions, please email us at partyattheparks@alabamachild.org.

This event is brought to you by ABCH’s Birmingham Regional Advisory Board, a volunteer group of young leaders in the community.

When: Saturday, July 23, 2016
Time: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Location: Railroad Park, The Meadow (in the center of the park) 1600 1st Avenue, Birmingham, AL 35233
Cost: All events held at Railroad Park will be FREE! If you would like to learn more about Alabama Baptist Children’s Homes or give to this worthy ministry, there will be opportunities to do so at the event.
Event t-shirts will also be for sale at Railroad Park. Cash, checks, or credit cards will be accepted.

For your comfort, bring folding chairs or a blanket!

Activities at Railroad Park include:

Inflatables for all ages, photos with princesses, face painting, clowns, yard games, snow cones, cotton candy, and popcorn.

What happens if it rains?

We are planning to enjoy “Party at the Parks” rain or shine! If severe weather does occur and we are forced to cancel the event, we will let our guests know on this web page and on our social media channels.
