Bands, artist demonstrations, games, a kids’ zone, outdoor family movies, specialty foods and beverages are also on deck. Vendors will set up in the Rocky Ridge Square and the Rocky Ridge Plaza.

There will be no event scheduled for October due to the Vestavia Hills High School football schedule. A special Saturday event will be held June 25, as the city of Vestavia Hills sponsors a “Slide in the City” party beginning at 9 a.m. Music, vendors, food and a massive 1,000-foot waterslide will be set up on Lime Rock Road. The slide will run down the hill to where the road meets Morgan Drive.

First Friday parking, according to the event’s Facebook page, will be available at Vestavia Hills High School. A shuttle will transport patrons to and from the event from 4:30 – 8:00 p.m.
