25th Corks & Chefs: A Taste of Birmingham

25th Corks & Chefs: A Taste of Birmingham

Presented by Foundation for Art and Cultural Connections at Sloss Furnaces

Taste. Sip. Repeat.

Corks & Chefs, now in its 25th year, is “A Taste of Birmingham” and the place where the culinary arts are paired with wine, craft beer, spirits, cocktails, and tasting seminars at the 39th Magic City Art Connection festival, which will be returning to Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark in 2022. This popular tasting event is an exploration and appreciation of local flavors, and was the first outdoor experience of its kind to hit the Birmingham scene. Since then, it’s been teeming with patrons eager to sample mouth-watering creations from many of Birmingham’s favorite restaurants, chefs, and caterers.

At the 2022 C&C, four to six (4-6) Birmingham restaurants, chefs, and caterers will be showcased at tasting tables each day alongside vintners, brewers, distillers, and bartenders who we all love. Patrons will get entry into a 2-hour Tasting Session, one of two presented each day with access to attend one of two seated Tasting Seminars (limited seating). Sign up at the Festival. DJ Tony Rodio will be joining us as C&C’s featured DJ and creating the soundtrack.

Corks & Chefs is honoring the Birmingham Chapter of Les Dames D’ Escoffier International as part of our silver anniversary milestone, and looks forward to showcasing several of their members at the 2022 event.

We look forward to continuing our mission of spotlighting, bolstering, and presenting the local food and drink scene to MCAC’s art patrons, while also supporting the preservation of future festivals as part of the arts and cultural landscape of Birmingham, Alabama, and the Southeast. Hope you will join us for C&C’s BIG silver anniversary milestone!
