Football fans and seafood lovers are invited to the ultimate football season kick-off party on Saturday, Aug. 20 at Otey’s Tavern (244 Country Club Park, Mountain Brook) from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Boiling N’ Bragging, a benefit to help raise funds and awareness for Children’s Critical Care Transport program, will bring football fans of all ages together for this annual event.

For the eighth straight year, the 53 clubs of Rotary International District 6860 is partnering with Children’s of Alabama, Otey’s Tavern, Charter-Spectrum Communications and Waste Management in hosting a football kick-off party and low country boil. Guests will enjoy live music, $1 drink specials and kids’ activities. Entertainment will be provided by Lance Taylor and Rockstar from WJOX’s Roundtable.

Guests are encouraged to wear their favorite college football team colors. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door, and kids (10 and younger) are admitted free. Street parking will be available.
