Birmingham-Southern and Millsaps will meet in the 2022 Southern Athletic Association Baseball Championship this weekend. After dropping their first game of the pod, BSC came from the losers bracket to win the BSC pod. Millsaps won their first two games of the Berry pod to advance to the pod championship. They lost the first game to Rhodes but came back and won the if necessary game to win the pod and advance to SAA Championship weekend.

The two teams will play a best of three series hosted by Birmingham-Southern. The series will start on Sunday, May 8 with first pitch scheduled for 4 p.m. Both teams will come back the following day Monday, May 9 to play game two of the series. The first pitch for game two is scheduled for 4 p.m. The third game (if necessary) will be played on Monday, May 9 as well. The start of the game will be 45 minutes after the conclusion of game two.
