This family-friendly show will delight everyone, from seasoned rock hounds to casual collectors. ALL are welcome! You will find a great array of rocks and minerals for sale: rough, slabbed, polished, or fashioned into cabochons, beads, or finished jewelry and ornamental objects. A geode cracker is on-site to split whole geodes and reveal their hidden beauty. There are sparkling, natural crystal formations, carved stone obelisks, spheres, etc.

The annual show is an outreach event by the Alabama Mineral & Lapidary Society, a non-profit organization for people interested in geology, mineralogy, paleontology, & lapidary arts. Anyone can join & beginners are welcome. Meetings are on the 2nd Friday of each month at 6:30 pm, at the Cahaba Heights United Methodist Church. We love for visitors & kids to join us. We have club-sponsored field trips for dues-paying members, classes taught by experts, and a workshop in Leeds where you can learn to cut and polish with club-owned rock saws and cabbing equipment.
