One of the longest-running triathlons IN THE COUNTRY!

This 37th Annual race honors the life of Buster Britton – one of the Birmingham area’s original triathletes. Buster was a true inspiration for triathletes as the sport began to take shape in Alabama.

This course is challenging and fun with an open water swim in the very calm Double Oak Lake; a moderately hilly bike course with some nice fast sections and a run on paved park roads with short, rolling hills through a shady and wooded section.

Sprint: 400yd Swim/12mi Bike/3mi Run
Olympic: 1200yd Swim/24mi Bike/5.5mi Run
