Grammy Award winner Vishwa Mohan Bhatt has mesmerized the world with his pristine, pure, and delicate yet fiery music. He invented the mohan veena, a highly modified archtop guitar that, through the use of drone and sympathetic strings, blends Hawaiian slide guitar with traditional Indian sitār, sarod, and vīṇā techniques. Bhatt has established his instrument as an important one in mainstream Indian classical music, and his electrifying performances have charmed audiences worldwide.
Subhen Chatterjee bases his tablā playing style on the Lucknow gharana, one of the six main tablā styles, which he learned from the illustrious tablā maestro Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri. Not restricting himself to one single gharana, Chatterjee learned the intricacies and beauty of other gharanas, and he has incorporated them into his unique style.
