Kick off a new school year with moms and daughters throughout Birmingham! On August 20th, we have 1GN, a christian girls “pop” band, performing with a guest speaker, Kari Kampakis.

1GN, is about more than music. Their mission is to encourage girls to guard their hearts, to protect their lives online, to overcome hate with love, and to live boldly for Christ. Haters gonna hate, but Jesus taught us to love them anyway. Above all else, GUARD YOUR HEART!

Kari Kampakis, is a local Birmingham mom who writes for moms and teen girls. She has written two books for teen girls – 10 Ultimate Truths Girls Should Know, used widely across the country by small groups and church youth groups, and Liked: Whose Approval Are You Living For? – which releases November 15. Kari blogs for The Huffington Post and was featured on the Today show for one of the most popular blog posts in December 2015.
