The Souls Grown Deep Foundation, together with nonprofits Nest and Freedom Quilting Bee Legacy, will support the community of Gee’s Bend with the first ever Gee’s Bend Airing of the Quilts Festival.

Coming on the heels of the Gee’s Bend quilts receiving even greater national and international attention over the past year, the Airing of the Quilts Festival will leverage this beautiful tradition to provide attendees with the opportunity to connect and buy directly from quilters, meet and support local business owners, attend an interactive and dynamic panel discussion with community leaders, and learn about the craftsmanship and heritage of Gee’s Bend quilts by experiencing the rich history present in the Bend.
