The theme of this year’s virtual event, “Rights to Health: Where do we go from here?”, will be tackled by Keynote Speaker Sofia Gruskin, JD, MIA, and a panel of experts, scholars and community members.
Addressing the barriers to health equity and ways that communities can work together to build momentum toward sustainable change. The Community Engagement Institute (CEI) Symposium is a multifaceted event focused on issues related to health equity and social justice. This year’s panel will be discussing the economic, social, and cultural right to a universal minimum standard of health to which all individuals are entitled.
The CEI Symposium is a collaboration of the CCTS Partner Network, the Center for the Study of Community Health, the Forge AHEAD Center and the communities we serve.
