The event will feature cave tours, geology seminars, gem mining, swimming, archery, geocaching, guided hikes, live animal education programs and live music. In honor of the 2016 Olympics Games, kids can also compete in the “Cannonball Challenge” to see who can create the biggest splash from the pool diving boards.
Exhibitors include the Alabama State Parks Division, Alabama State Parks Partners, Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics, the Alabama Wildlife Center, Oak Mountain Interpretive Center, and more.
Come for Family Fun Day and stay overnight – campsites are still available.
Fee: Entrance free waived for event, but cave tour & swimming pool rates apply. Open to people of all ages! Campsites available. Call or email the park for details.
