A Samford tradition since 1980 and patterned after the traditional Lessons and Carols Service in England. Samford’s Hanging of the Green is a rich Samford tradition that ushers in the Advent and Christmas seasons. Through scripture, song and symbolic action, the community reflects upon the gift of Jesus Christ as the Light of the World. Featuring both the Samford University A Cappella Choir and the University Chorale.
