Shelter Fundamentals, train to become a disaster shelter worker

Presented by American Red Cross Mid Alabama Region and Birmingham Jefferson Chapter of the American Red Cross at American Red Cross

One of the five key functions within American Red Cross Disaster Cycle Service is Sheltering. A recent example is the Louisiana Floods, the first and highest request needed was for Shelter Volunteers. During the next week, we are offering a Shelter Fundamentals Class in each Red Cross Chapter to cross-train volunteers.
