MUSE OF FIRE is a new and innovative deconstructed Shakespeare project at Sloss Furnace.

MUSE began in November 2006, with a showcase of 8 scenes – tragedy, comedy, and history – staged throughout the footpath of Sloss. Small audience groups were ushered from location to location, with a wine reception following.

In spring 2007, MUSE went full-length with an adrenaline-fueled HENRY V and music festival, produced in association with Catalyst 4 Birmingham.

The 2008 Spring Festival production of MACBETH will run May 3-4, with tickets available in late March.

Plans are under way to launch MUSE ON WHEELS, a new educational outreach in Birmingham area schools.
