Since opening in 1996, the Alys Robinson Stephens Performing Arts Center has established itself as the center for arts and education in Birmingham. This state-of-the-art facility houses four superb performance venues, including the:

1,330-seat Jemison Concert Hall
350-seat proscenium-style Sirote Theatre
170-seat Reynolds-Kirschbaum Recital Hall
Black-box Odess Theatre

Each of these venues allows you to experience the best in world, pop, jazz, classical, dance, theatre, and comedy in an up close and personal setting extremely rare in the realm of live performance. We strive to enhance your concert-going experience by offering opportunities to get closer to the arts through educational programs, meet the artist activities, and more.

The Alys Robinson Stephens Performing Arts Center is an integral part of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. UAB’s vision is to be an internationally renowned research university—a first choice for education and health care. UAB’s mission is to be a research university and academic health center that discovers, teaches and applies knowledge for the intellectual, cultural, social, and economic benefit of Birmingham, the state, and beyond.
