Formed in 2010 and based in Homewood, Alabama, the Katie Cox School of Irish Dance brings together dancers of all ages, from new beginner to champion, to learn traditional and modern Irish dancing, discover Irish history, sample the Irish arts, and take advantage of opportunities to perform and compete. Irish dancing is a fun and exciting way to learn about Irish history and culture, cultivate creativity and teamwork skills, and develop dancing skills and fitness.
