The Department of English offers the B.A. and M.A. degrees. Courses guide students through the study of literature to develop analytical and communication skills that develop clarity in thinking and writing. In addition to the traditional literary emphases, the department also offers concentrations in creative writing, linguistics, professional writing, and rhetoric.
