United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Birmingham provides quality programs designed to promote self reliance, present choices, and improve the quality of life for children and adults with disabilities. UCP of Greater Birmingham serves children and adults with cerebral palsy, as well as other disabilities including but not limited to mental retardation, traumatic brain injury, developmental disabilities, autism, Down syndrome, and spina bifida. UCP of Greater Birmingham serves more than 3,000 children and adults in Birmingham and the surrounding ten counties. Ninety-three cents of every dollar directly funds comprehensive programs and services.
