The Public Libraries in Jefferson County (PLJC) is the umbrella non-profit 501(c) (3) organization that links all 40 public libraries of Jefferson County with a "one county one card" system. PLJCs, and our public libraries', mission is to encourage and coordinate services and resource sharing among the public libraries of Jefferson County, Alabama for the benefit of the citizens of the county.
