JCCEO is Alabama’s largest and premier Community Action Agency and one of over 1000 Community Action Agencies in the nation, serving eligible, low-income citizens of Jefferson County. JCCEO provides quality, developmentally appropriate, and comprehensive Head Start services to families and their children from birth through the year before kindergarten and a wide range of diverse community programs and services to the Jefferson County community. JCCEO’s mission is to reduce poverty and help low-income citizens of Jefferson County, Alabama to meet critical needs and become self-sufficient.
