The Arc of Central Alabama (formerly The Arc of Jefferson County) supports people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities of all ages throughout their lifetimes.  Because the majority of the individuals we serve do not have a family active in their lives, we are proud to become that family.  We serve over 700 individuals per year by providing personal support systems including education, enrichment activities, healthcare, housing and most importantly, relationships.
