Participants have unique opportunities to access sound business advice and to critical start-up and development capital. Alabama Launchpad gives early-stage start-ups momentum to take an idea from concept to reality. University partners include:

  • Alabama State University
  • Alabama A&M University
  • Auburn University
  • The University of Alabama
  • University of Alabama at Birmingham
  • University of Alabama in Huntsville
  • University of South Alabama

Through a proof of concept competition, a seed stage competition, and a technology database, Alabama Launchpad provides a framework for individuals in the state to locate innovations, develop their business ideas, and connect to a network of experts, investors, and service providers that can increase the odds of success. Alabama Launchpad provides unique opportunities to obtain startup capital, receive expert guidance, and establish working relationships within the business, academic, and investment capital communities.
