Established in 2012, Mother Plug Music, LLC is a music and event promotional company that was created by Josh Mathews after his experiences growing up in his father’s record store, The Music Emporium, in Meridian, Mississippi. His father’s unique ability to connect with people through music was the inspiration behind his mission. Mother Plug Music seeks to bring people together through music in a way that benefits the artists, the host venues, and the local business that support music in Birmingham and surrounding areas.
