Initiative established to raise awareness to GYN Cancer during the month of September through municipal and statewide proclamations. The effort also encourages lightings of prominent buildings throughout the Birmingham area and across the state and panhandle of Florida. This is a joint effort of the CanSurvive Support Group, the Laura Crandall Brown Ovarian Cancer Foundation, and the Norma Livingston Ovarian Cancer Foundation.
