Istanbul Cultural Center (ICC) is a 501c(3) non-profit, non-governmental organization established by Turkish-Americans. ICC promotes a better understanding of Turkish cultural heritage, which is increasingly becoming a part of rich multicultural society in the United States of America. ICC was opened in 2006 and first named as Peace Valley Foundation (PVF). In 2013, PVF was acquired by the organization ‘Istanbul Cultural Center’ and changed the name to ICC.

ICC’s branch in Birmingham, like other branches in 5 different south-east states such as Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and Tennessee, has been working for celebrations of diverse cultures and traditions. We aim to contribute building a peaceful society where respect, understanding, friendship, cooperation and love prevail. ICC is also committed to support our local environment through community service projects. We hope to be a forum of intercultural exchange while promoting Turkish Cultural Heritage.
