Chaotic Good Improv was born in the middle of a pandemic—chaos is in our DNA. Though many of us had performed together before (some for many years), we didn’t want that to end just because we couldn’t see each other in person. So we started doing virtual improv shows. These were more fun than even we expected, and kept us sane during lockdowns and tough times. We created CGI originally to just continue doing what we love—make people (and each other) laugh. We quickly found that we had also created a community of people who truly believe there is always room for one more at our gaming table. Once we were able to safely perform in-person shows, we connected with two amazing venues: East 59 Cafe in Lee Branch and Sidewalk Film Center+Cinema. It is such an honor to perform improv comedy, both in-person and virtually, and hope to see you at one of our future shows!
