Edgewood Elementary School is one of three elementary schools located in Homewood, Alabama. The school serves over 900 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Edgewood School was first established in the 1920s and has remained a vital part of the Homewood community for over ninety years. We have been recognized by the United States Department of Education as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. Edgewood believes in our district’s mission of empowering every student to maximize his or her unique potential.
