Did you know that The Dance Foundation’s Community Arts Center is available to artists and organizations for classes, workshops, rehearsal, special events and performances? The Center has four studios and a 100- seat theatre with a sprung dance floor, lighting and sound equipment, a backstage area and adjacent dressing rooms. Dozens of artists and organizations serving hundreds of students and audience members use our studios, including: Devyani Dance Company, MadSkillz Dance Company, Natyananda Indian Dance and Sanspointe Dance Company. We are proud that these artists call CDF ‘home.’

Organizational Overview

Community service through the power of dance is the bedrock of our work. Our main programs are:

• Community Partnership Program partially funded by the participating organizations;
• Studio Program with financial assistance to those in need;
• Educator and Parent Resources and curriculum materials for young children;
• School Touring Program, “Math in Motion”;
• Contracted training programs for educators;
• Student and staff performances for the community and
• Creative Community Workspace, a long-standing commitment to offer studio space for individual artists and organizations who are in need of space to work and perform to call ‘home.’
