Being one of the oldest communities in Alabama, Pinson is rich in history. We are home to Bullfrog Bend and the Jefferson Warriors. In the early 1800’s, Andrew Jackson’s soldiers were some of the first people to settle here after their victory at Horseshoe Bend.

Descendants of Pinson’s founding families still reside in our community and have played a major role in the development of cultural establishments in Jefferson County.
