Brick and Tin

 Located in the heart of downtown Birmingham, right along tree-lined 20th street, brick & tin occupies the former “dress for success” space. After stumbling upon the space’s gorgeous original pressed tin ceiling hidden behind some broken lay-in ceiling tiles and peeling back the layers of crumbling purple painted plaster to reveal warm brick walls, the idea of brick & tin emerged. Exposing integrity by using simple elements and ingredients, the space as well as the food here reminds us what quality is all about. Our location downtown advocates reclamation – whether through our salvaged door tables and recycled wainscoting or our adaptive reuse of an empty building in our city’s historic core. We want to help revitalize downtown while bringing a new lunch destination to the local lunch crowd.
