Clay Public Library

Clay Public Library

Housed in the historic Jayford Ware House, the Clay Public Library is the newest library in the Jefferson County Library Cooperative, opening in October of 2009. Funded primarily by the City of Clay and the Jefferson County Commission, we currently hold over 4000 items, including bestseller fiction and non-fiction, children’s and teen books, books on CD, and a rapidly growing DVD collection that includes all the latest new releases. We have a computer room with four public computers, and we offer wireless Internet access. Make plans to visit us soon. You might be surprised by what you find!
