OLLI of Greater Birmingham presents The Titanic, with Julie Williams, Assistant Professor of Journalism, Samford University and author. Professor Williams describes her great-uncle’s story as part of the historic encounter between the “unsinkable” vessel and an iceberg. He related to Julie how he, his wife, and 10-month-old son narrowly escaped death in their harrowing experience.
