Alabama Wildlife Center & Audubon Teaches Nature - Mysteries of Bird Migration

Refreshments are offered at 1:30pm in the Observation Room at the Alabama Wildlife Center followed by the program at 2:00pm in the AWC Auditorium.  AWC Founder Anne G. Miller, Guest Speaker.  Every day of every month of every year birds crisscross the skies above the North American continent to destinations known only to them.  Their migrations are guided by environmental cues and their innate abilities honed by generations of ancestors before them.  AWC Founder Anne Miller will take us on a migratory journey as fascinating and as ancient as birds themselves, as she delves into the secrets and mysteries of bird migration.  Weather permitting, an informal nature walk follows the program so be sure to bring your binoculars, cameras & field guides.
