Join us on Saturday, June 15, as we kick off the LWVGB summer with a field trip to view the beautiful Cahaba River and hear more about challenges facing Alabama’s waterways. Our program will begin at 10:30 a.m., and we will continue our discussion at 11:30 over sack lunches. BYO picnic, and we’ll have beverages available. LaTanya Scott, Cahaba River Society, will lead the discussion, assisted by Cindy Lowry, LWVGB member and Executive Director of the Alabama Rivers Alliance.
