Using the forge, students will construct a cloak pin using the horn of the anvil and various forming techniques to create decorative twists and patterns.
This class will introduce the process of fitting pieces together, Students will be shown how to use tongs, measure, and cut their own metal. No prior classes or prerequisites are required to take this class. The task involved – (stretching/drawing, bending/forming, twisting, handling tongs, cutting metal, fitting pieces together, and annealing).
