This year, our dinner theme is “let’s build, a place to call home.” in March 2015, sozo children purchased 28 acres of land in a village outside of Kampala, Uganda. We will be fundraising to complete phase one of the village project, an initiative designed for community transformation in a village sozo children has been nurturing relationships with for several years. We have raised funds to dig 3 wells and build a worship pavilion church. Now we need your help to complete our phase one goal and leave our exisiting rental properties to build 15 children’s homes on our new land, giving our children a place to call home.
At the Sozo Children Dinner there will be many items to bid on during the silent auction, which will last throughout the night. There will also be a live auction for higher valued items. We are asking for quality donated items that can be auctioned off during this event. Sozo Children is a certified 501(c )3 and a registered Ugandan NGO, so all of your donated items are tax deductible. The money raised from these donations will greatly impact the Kingdom of God by helping children in desperate need. If you would like to donate items for the silent auction email Laura@sozochildren.org.
