Public Radio WBHM 90.3 FM, a listener-supported service of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, is “Your NPR News Station” and home to the Alabama Radio Reading Service, a resource for the blind and print-impaired. WBHM programming and award-winning regional journalism also can be heard in North Central Alabama on WSGN 91.5 FM through a partnership with Gadsden State Community College. Founded in 2005, Babypalooza was created to educate, encourage, and celebrate new and expectant parents. Through our baby and maternity expos, magazines, and digital community we help parents connect to local resources and each other.

Fergus Media is a publisher of print, custom, and digital media. Its focus is on creating high-quality products that tell great stories. The company publishes B-Metro Magazine, which reflects the best of the city through fascinating stories about the region’s most interesting people.

 

The Birmingham Times newspaper was founded in 1964. Since their first issue, The Times has been in continuous circulation for more than 50 years. Their mission is to bring interesting and relevant information to the community, as well as serve the needs of their clients. The Birmingham Times positions itself as the documenters of African-American news/history in Birmingham, Alabama.

 

Happenin’s in the ‘Ham is a way of helping friends, family, and fellow residents get “A Better View of Birmingham” by keeping everyone informed of some wonderful free and low-cost events in and around our city! Their mission is to act as curators by promoting involvement in local activities and keep you connected with great events that you may not have known existed!
