Beginner Drawing

If you’re age 55 and better and have no experience in the arts, or if you do have past experience but want to enhance your skills or explore a new medium, Art in the Making is for you! Classes are offered in Space One Eleven’s 2D and pottery studios and culminate with art exhibitions.

I believe that one must learn to draw things as one sees them, realistically. To render a realistic drawing one must observe the basic structure of an object regardless of how complex or obscured by detail. You must train your eyes as well as your hands. Throughout the eight week class you will explore the fundamentals, the “craft” of drawing and then a point of departure from which to “create”.
