Birmingham African American Genealogy Group, INC - 22nd Black Heritage Fair

BAAGG’s annual Black Heritage Fair focuses on the theme of BLACK HEALTH AND WELLNESS. Featured guest speakers, UAB Professor Dr. Nadia Richardson, PhD, and child psychiatrist and author, Dr. Leesha Ellis-Cox, MD.  They will share their views on Mental Health: A Challenge in the Black Community.  Both will speak concerning the issues and challenges Black youth and parents face in todays COVID atmosphere and emotional day to day pressures.

In addition, there will be short talks from members of The Birmingham African American Genealogy Group: Norma Wright, Wanda Looney, and Ethel Alexander
