If you think the world needs a little more compassion, join us for a new group which will study the book, Twelve Steps to a Compassionate Life and then develop a compassion project in the community.
Birmingham’s Charter for Compassion Group
The Golden Rule is the underlying principle in the religions of the world. Join us for discussions on how we can release compassion in all phases of society. This group will study the book, Twelve Steps to a Compassionate Life, by Karen Armstrong for six weeks. Afterwards, we will discuss ways to develop a project in the Birmingham community that reflects the Golden Rule.

What: Charter for Compassion Discussion Group using the book by Karen Armstrong (available at www.Amazon.com) We will begin discussion of Chpts 1 & 2 on Jan. 18
Who: Open to all faiths and spiritual organizations in the Birmingham Community
When: Every Thursday night from 6 to 7:30pm for 6 weeks beginning January 18th.
