Cajun Cook Off

While the food is the life of the party, there will also be a number of entertaining activities for the whole family. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy live zydeco music by the Swamp Poppas, a performance by Girls Inc. program participants, a silent auction and a Kids Zone while taste-testing of an array of Cajun favorites including gumbo, jambalaya, bread pudding, po’boys, shrimp and grits and more. Tickets are $25 and admission is FREE for kids 12 and under!

“In the past year, hundreds more girls in our community have been able to experience our life-changing programming. This growth would not be possible without the funds from the Cajun Cook-off.” said Connie Hill, President and Chief Executive Officer for Girls Inc. “The Cajun Cook-off is our largest annual fundraiser, and this year we look forward to expanding this event to make it both memorable and fun for all who attend.”
