History Walk Along the Vulcan-Kiwanis Trail. Join Dr. Jason Heberling for a fascinating tour of the geologic history that shaped Birmingham. Along the Vulcan-Kiwanis Trail, everything from the red iron ore to ancient fossils can be found, revealing the earthen gifts that built the Magic City. Dr. Heberling will also be pointing out plants and creature, such as millipedes, birds, wildflowers and trees.
