Gradient Dance Theater presents “Tortoise and the Hare”

Original music by local Birmingham musicians, Post-Cool Art Collective, sets the stage for a race between Tortosie and Hare. Who wins? Tortoise might be slow but how slow is too slow, Hare might be fast but how fast is too fast? A mischievous duck will find the answers by challenging a race and finding out if it’s our community that helps us and when we work together we thrive. Choreography by CJ Wade, Grace Kurosaka, Taylor Ostronic and Joanna Hardy-West dives deep into what it means to move fast and slow, low and high, circular and linear.
