Join Dr. Jim Day, University of Montevallo Professor of History and author of “Diamonds in the Rough: A History of Alabama’s Cahaba Coal Field,” to learn more the history of Birmingham as an Iron City and explore the industrial history of the region.
The talk will be held at the outdoor classroom on Trail 2 near the Frankfurt entrance of the Park, 2011 Frankfurt Drive, Birmingham, AL 35211.
